Frozen Cold-Pressed Juice: What Is It Really?

COLD-PRESSED JUICE
You’ve probably seen the term "cold-pressed juice" but what does cold-pressed juice actually mean?
Well, think of the conventional juices you see on shelves which are normally processed through heat or fast-spinning blades. Though quick, this can mess with the very things we love and want from fruits - the flavour, the colour, and all the nutrients.
Good news? Cold-pressed juice retains more of the goodness than traditional methods.
So instead of using heat or high-speed blades, cold-pressed juices are made by using hydraulic presses that slowly apply pressure to extract the juice from the fruit.
No heat involved, no friction, just pure pressure.
So what do you get? A juice that’s closer to the real fruit in every way. Packed with more nutrients, loaded with real flavour and freshness, with nothing stripped away.
It’s simple really. That’s why cold-pressed juice is often seen as a fresher, healthier option. At Frozt, we love that. But of course, we had to Frozt-ify it...
FROZEN COLD-PRESSED JUICE
So here’s where Frozt puts a twist on things.
After we cold-press our juice, we don’t just bottle it and send it off. Instead, we freeze it. Right away.
Why? Freezing is our way of extending the cold-pressed juice's storage life and locking in all that fresh, fruity goodness. The flavour, the colour, the naturally sweet and tangy notes - freezing holds onto it all.
No preservatives, no high-heat treatments, no shortcuts. Just juice, paused at its best. That's how we turn Frozt juice into a frozen treat that stays peak-fresh.
When the time comes, just pop it in the chiller for at least 12 hours to let it thaw naturally. That’s it. You get juice that tastes like it was made today, even if you’ve had it in the freezer for weeks.
So that’s what frozen cold-pressed juice is.
But why do we freeze it, exactly? That’s a story for next time.
